Staff at Hippo Motor Group participated in Red Nose Day 2019 with a dress down day on Friday 15th March in aid of Comic Relief, the charity that organises Red Nose Day.
“We’re so pleased to see the Hippo Family get behind such a good cause,” said managing director Hippo Motor Group, Tom Preston.
“Dress down day is an opportunity for staff to relax a bit in a way that acknowledges all the hard work that a charity like Comic Relief does to help the worlds most vulnerable people.”
“Helping those that need it most through charity work is a key aspect of Hippo as we see it as our responsibility to help our local community in every way we can. That’s why we partner with charities every year, with this year’s chosen charity being Blackburn Youth Zone.”
What’s more, Hippo Motor Group team member, David Healy is currently raising funds in aid of Prostate Cancer UK by cycling the Grand Départ Classic 2019 in June this yea. The Grand Départ is the route on the first stage of the Tour De France, and the event takes place one week before cycling’s most illustrious competition.
Tom added: “We’re so proud of David, and wish him all the best as he prepares for this event in June.”
