The MacMillan coffee morning is one of the biggest and well-attended events in the charity calendar each year. It began way back in 1990 and like most things started as a small idea which has gathered incredible pace. Since 1990 the coffee morning alone has raised over £138million for MacMillan and the services they provide to patients.
Companies large and small as well as stores, local shops and homes play ‘Great British Bake Off’ and entice their friends and colleagues to purchase cakes and treats to raise much-needed funds for MacMillan.
Albeit not everyone is capable of whipping up a Mary Berry style sponge but everyone is encouraged to give it a go or wave the white flag and buy goodies! MacMillan actually provides some handy baking recipes on their website which you can give a go.

The Hippo Motor Group is no different and we have been involved and loving, the MacMillan coffee morning since we moved into Trident Park. Our team has grown immensely since 2013 and we are delighted at being able to beat our previous year’s target every year so far.
