Hippo Motor Group are currently recruiting a Bodyshop Smart Repairer to prepare our cars that require cosmetic refurbishment. We sell over 800 vehicles a month that all go through our workshop and body shop before sale. We have a growing team of 15 who all work to ensure our vehicles are prepared to a high standard before they are delivered to our customers. This means our team repair and refurbish thousands of vehicles per year, so we require a SMART Repairer to train alongside our experience technicians.

Perform high-quality smart repairs on various vehicle surfaces including plastics, upholstery and paintwork
Assess damage to vehicles and determine the appropriate repair techniques to restore them to optimal condition.
Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and customer satisfaction before vehicle delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and effectively during the repair process
Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and automotive technologies through ongoing training and development.

Proven experience in automotive repairs, specifically in smart repairs or related fields.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess issues quickly and efficiently
Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and repair techniques as needed
