Sales Manager – Manchester

At Hippo Motor Group we have a close team of driven, enthusiastic, and committed Sales Executives who develop and maintain excellent relationships with all our customers. Whether it is a small City Car or a Luxury Prestige Car, our team’s aim is to ensure every customer receives first class service. As a result of our growth, Hippo is constantly developing and expanding which is why we’re recruiting a Sales Manager to effectively manage 1 of our teams. We currently have 60 sales staff, you will manage a team of 12 to ensure they achieve consistent results, stay motivated, remain positive and overachieve!

• Daily management of a sales team consisting of 12 staff
• Setting clear and consistent goals and monitoring team/individual performance.
• Conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews for each team member.
• Analysing KPI’s to increase productivity, performance, units sold and PPU.
• Provide team direction and motivation that engages your team and helps them understand their purpose within the business.
• Identify knowledge gaps and provide on-the-job training where necessary.
• Manage/monitor our CRM system and enquiries to ensure the workflow is managed effectively to maximize each opportunity.
• Support individuals in deal making and closing deals.
• Maintain communication with your team to ensure leads are correctly managed.
• To also ensure Team Members are following all Company rules and processes, adhering to all compliances, and managing the Staff to operate within the FCA guidelines.
• Interview, hire and build your team with full support of our in-house recruiter

  • Previous experience as Manager in sales
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
  • High standard of communication skills
  • Ability to motivate, engage and increase performance in a sales environment.
  • Previous track record of target achievement
  •  Proven background in managing a sales team
